The Department of Information Science and Engineering at Akash Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET), was established in the year 2023.The Department offers full-time UG programme in Information Science and Engineering. The programme is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Information Science and Engineering department is dedicated to fostering innovation, creativity, and excellence in the field of information technology. We offer a dynamic learning environment where students engage with cutting-edge technologies and develop the skills necessary to thrive in today's digital world. Information Science and Engineering department is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in computer science principles, data analytics, software engineering, and information systems. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, students gain the expertise needed to tackle complex challenges in diverse sectors such as technology, healthcare, finance, and more.
The department will conduct various activates as a part of teaching learning process in order to improve the students learning ability, performance in academics and placement, apart from regular academic syllabus.
The department of Information Science and Engineering has a team of well qualified and experienced teaching staff members. Faculty members along with their regular academic activities also have published a good number technical papers in various reputed peer reviewed journals, international conferences.Also, faculty members have patent and authored Book Chapters to help the student community.
AIET has good infrastructure and world-class facilities to learn the mechanical engineering, which enhances the learning abilities for the students to achieve their goal.
