BE Information Science and Engineering

The Department of Information Science and Engineering at Akash Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET), was established in the year 2023.The Department offers full-time UG programme in Information Science and Engineering. The programme is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, Karnataka and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Information Science and Engineering department is dedicated to fostering innovation, creativity, and excellence in the field of information technology. We offer a dynamic learning environment where students engage with cutting-edge technologies and develop the skills necessary to thrive in today's digital world. Information Science and Engineering department is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in computer science principles, data analytics, software engineering, and information systems. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, students gain the expertise needed to tackle complex challenges in diverse sectors such as technology, healthcare, finance, and more.

4 years	a) Second year Pre-University or XII standard or equivalent examination recognized by the University (with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of the following subjects, namely, Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics) b) Admission to II year/ III semester Bachelor Degree in Engineering/ Technology (Lateral Entry) shall be open to the candidates who are holders of a diploma or equivalent qualification as recognized by University
